Dr. Griffin is a NYS Licensed Psychologist and NYS Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Griffin received his bachelors and masters degrees in psychology and school psychology from SUNY Buffalo in 1991 and 1994, respectively, and his Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2002. Dr. Griffin completed his doctoral internship at Sarah Reed Children’s Center in Erie, PA, and has taught in SUNY Buffalo’s School Psychology Program. He worked for nearly ten years in residential treatment and group home settings, and has worked as a school psychologist and special education chairperson in public and private schools, as well.

Dr. Griffin specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with learning, behavioral, and emotional problems, with specialization in cognitive-behavioral and family-based interventions for children and adolescents struggling with disruptive behaviors, anxiety, mood disorders, and divorce adjustment.

Dr. Griffin was in part time private practice with East Amherst Psychology Group from 2006-2011, and in full time private practice at Linden Oaks Therapy Offices from 2011-2015. Most recently, Dr. Griffin joined Rochester Psychological Associates in September 2015.
