Laurie Lash, Ph.D.

Laurie Lash, Ph.D.Dr. Laurie Lash, a Rochester native, holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from SUNY Brockport and a Ph.D. from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Lash completed a Pediatric Psychology Internship at Columbus Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Primary Care Family Psychology (Pediatrics) through the University of Rochester Medical Center and Rochester General Hospital. Dr. Lash uses an integrated therapy approach that includes Cognitive, Behavioral, and Family Systems modalities.

Jennifer Lukomski

Ernesto Michelucci, Ph.D. Jennifer Lukomski, received her undergraduate degree in History from Williams College , her Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing from Gallaudet University and her Doctoral degree in School Psychology from the University of Arizona . Her postdoctoral work was completed at the University of Tennessee Center for Developmental Disabilities. She is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist who is recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. She has received Level 1 and Level II training in Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Her counseling orientation is a combination of family systems, cognitive behavior therapy and solution focused therapy. She has expertise in working with adjustment issues, deaf and hard of hearing related issues, grief and loss, sexual abuse, anxiety and depression disorders. Her American Sign Language skills have been rated as Advanced on the Sign Competency Proficiency Interview (SCPI).


Caroline I. Magyar, Ph.D.

Dr. MagyarDr. Magyar received her undergraduate psychology degree from Stony Brook University , her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Delphi University , and her doctoral degree in clinical/school psychology from Hofstra University . Dr. Magyar completed a pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute for Behavior Therapy in New York City where she continued to practice until her relocation to Rochester in 1999. Dr. Magyar is a member of the American Psychological Association and Association for Behavior Analysis. Dr. Magyar works with older children, adolescents, and young adult with anxiety (particularly social anxiety) and depression. She has a special interest in working with female adolescents with pervasive developmental disorders including Asperger’s disorder.


Ernesto Michelucci, Ph.D.

Ernesto Michelucci, Ph.D.Dr. Michelucci received his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from
The University of Toledo. He completed his clinical internship in the
Dept. of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Ohio, where he was
trained in Brief Cognitive Behavior Psychotherapy (MRI Model), Family
Therapy, and Hypnotherapy. Dr. Michelucci has also conducted research
in the areas of cross-cultural psychology and ethnicity, with focus on
worldviews and how they influence relationship and coping styles, and
hypnotic susceptibility with emphasis on learning theory. Dr.
Michelucci's approach in working with clients focuses on the existing
strengths of the individual or couple as well as on developing more
effective strategies or skills for minimizing acute or recurring
difficulties. He has recently been undertaking advanced training in
the psychological management of persistent pain with emphasis on early
planned treatment and mindfulness. Dr. Michelucci was born and reared
in Florence, Italy and is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish. He
is a member of the American Psychological Association.
